Nature Poems
Nature poems are poems about nature.
Wild Fire
A canopy of leaves overhead,
the radiance of the sun seeping through.
Illuminating life,
Illuminating bliss.
Giants hang over
the senile forest,
with its twisted and mangled arms,
covered in peeling bark.
Ants march in a
two by two fashion,
scaling the ridges,
across the tree's reaching hand.
Suddenly, smoke dances on the horizon,
with bright crackling embers,
diving onto the
confetti of leaves.
Blazes roar
from the outskirts of the ravines,
as it bashes the trees,
tumbling like dominoes
Critters scurry,
left to right,
as the blazing demon
leaves trails of destruction.
Ash chokes the remains of
a quivering sapling,
who never had time
to grow to its glory.
